Welcome to My Eating Clean Journey. I’m Tamra and I love cooking. Cooking everyday meals that everyday people can make. I live in Vermont with my husband (of 25 years) and my two grown children, who are both attending college. I work full time and blog during my off-hours.
After growing up in the 80’s when processed foods were booming and new ones were hitting the shelves weekly, I knew I wanted to transition my family from the world of processed foods to “clean eating”. What is clean eating you ask? In my opinion, it’s eating whole foods, as close to their natural state as possible. No items that contains words you can’t pronounce (except quinoa) and have additives.
The next step in my process will be to eat organic or non-gmo foods also, but that’ll take some time and money to make that switch 100%.
