Real Success Stories from Omnitrition’s Omni Drops Program

March 4, 2014

I had always been skeptical when I saw before and after photos on a weight loss products website.  My sister was telling me about a segment on the Today Show recently where they talked about companies stealing bloggers before and after photos and using them as their own.  That actually happened to a blog friend that I know through a networking facebook group.  She had lost weight with diet and exercise only and a company that sells a product had stolen her photos.  Ridiculous really.

Well, I can tell you with 100% accuracy that the photos below are REAL people who followed the Omni Drops Program.  A few of them I know personally and have met in real life.  I’m astonished and amazed on a daily basis when people share their before and after photos.  I can’t wait until I graduate from “Before” and “During” to my Before and After photo.

My husband and I will be loading for Round 2 on the program.  I’m excited that my phase 3 reset has been a success and now I’m ready to start losing the weight again.

I’ve become a distributor for Omnitrition and if you’d like information on the products and the protocol for the Omni Drops, please contact me at cleaneating at comcast dot net.

Round 1, Phase 2 is Over – Lost 28 lbs – Before and After Photos

February 14, 2014

My first round of Omni-Drops is complete.  I lost 28 pounds in 38 days.  I’m so happy with the results and can’t wait to start my second round.  Before that, I need to complete phase 3 which is a maintenance phase.  I need to let my hypothalamus reset itself, which will take three weeks.  During that time though I can double my protein and vegetable intake plus add in healthy fats and dairy.  Tonight I enjoyed a slice of pepperjack cheese diced up into my meatloaf.  Yummy!

I can’t believe I am going to do this but I am actually going to post my before, during and after photos.  Ugh.  This is pushing me beyond my comfort zone but I think it’s important for others who are thinking about joining me on my journey of losing weight to see, with their own eyes, how much weight a normal person can really lose.  Besides the 28 pounds, I also lost 4″ in my two biggest rolls – my top stomach,  also known as my “inner tube” and my lower stomach – which is measured as my hips.  Overall, I lost  19.75″ from my arms, neck, chest, stomach, hips and thighs.

Cinnamon Curry Chicken Soup and 108 Sticks of Butter

February 6, 2014

Here in Vermont we are getting pounded with another snow storm.  I knew that I needed to make a soup to help warm my husband up after he was finished plowing and shoveling the driveway.  He looked like a snowman walking in the house – covered from head to toe with snow.

Tonight we had Cinnamon Curry Chicken Soup with a side salad with homemade Honey Mustard Dressing.  Both hit the spot.

Cinnamon Curry Chicken Soup
4oz chicken – cubed
diced onion (allowed amount)
2 c broth
3 cloves minced garlic
1/2 t curry powder
1/4 t cinnamon
1/4 t pumpkin pie spice
salt/black pepper to taste
Combine everything in one pot and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes.

I was also thinking today about my journey with Omnitrition and their Omni-Drops and was
thinking about how much 27 pounds really is.  I remember when I was attending a Weight Watchers
meeting years ago, she used to compare people’s weight loss to sticks of butter.  So off I went
to find a graphic of butter to use – and I found one that was exactly 27 pounds.  How perfect is that?
So….I’ve lost 108 sticks of butter over the last 33 days.  Amazing.

Down 27.2 pounds in 33 Days and My Cholesterol Results

February 5, 2014

When you wish upon a star, your dreams may come true.  Right now I feel like I’m living in a dream.  I stepped on the scale today and I’m down 27.2 pounds in 33 days.  Plus, I had my blood drawn yesterday at my doctor’s to run a few numbers and my cholesterol is down to 117.  What an amazing number to see.  A healthy number.  All my hard work and clean eating is really paying off.  I wish I would have listened to my friend a year ago when I first heard about Omnitrition and their Omni-Drops.

I wanted to share a portion of the book, Pounds and Inches from Dr. Simeons.   At the very beginning of his book he talked about Obesity as a disorder and says this:
As a basis for our discussion we postulate that obesity in all its many forms is due to an abnormal functioning of some part of the body and that every ounce of abnormally accumulated fat is always the result of the same disorder of certain regulatory mechanisms. Persons suffering from this particular disorder will get fat regardless of whether they eat excessively, normally or less than normal. A person who is free of the disorder will never get fat, even if he frequently overeats.

Those in whom the disorder is severe will accumulate fat very rapidly, those in whom it is moderate will gradually increase in weight and those in whom it is mild may be able to keep their excess weight stationary for long periods. In all these cases a loss of weight brought about by dieting, treatments with thyroid, appetite-reducing drugs, laxatives, violent exercise, massage, baths, etc., is only temporary and will be rapidly regained as soon as the reducing regimen is relaxed. The reason is simply that none of these measures corrects the basic disorder.

I am this person that Dr. Simeon describes in his book.  I have been moving towards an eating  clean lifestyle for the past three years but didn’t have much success in the weight loss category.   Although I was feeling better and knew I was feeding my body the nutrients that it needed to remain healthy, the weight was still an issue.  Thanks to his research and trials with his patients
in Italy, I feel he has unlocked the secret to losing weight – for me.  I have been on almost every diet out there and have never had much success.  There is an Omni support group on facebook for customers of the products.  Someone was mentioning the other day that they were disappointed that they had only lost 3 pounds in two days.  My response to her was that we put way too much emphasis on what the number of the scale is.  We need to know that by eating a good diet full of whole foods, we are feeding our body with vitamins and minerals.  Imagine if we just ate what we wanted and didn’t care if it was processed and full of ingredients we couldn’t even pronounce. I remember when I was following the Weight Watchers plan and celebrated a 1 pound loss each week.  So what this one person on Omni-Drops lost in two days and was disappointed in, I would be celebrating at the three week mark on Weight Watchers.

If anyone would like information on Omnitrition and the Omni-Drops, please feel free to email me at cleaneating@comcast.net or leave a comment here on my blog (which I love receiving by the way).

Day 9 – 11.6 pounds lost – Mashed Radishes

January 12, 2014

Day 9 of the Omni-Drops and I lost only .2 pounds yesterday.  That’s okay with me as I’m focusing on the overall total, which stands at 11.6 – nice number for 9 days.

I did have a great non-scale victory last night.  My husband and I went to see Lone Survivor at the movies and I chopped up an apple, squirted it with 1/2 lemon juice and a few drops of SweetLeaf’s Stevia Drops in English Toffee and brought that with me to the movies.  I knew I couldn’t have the popcorn, which I LOVE and needed to be prepared.  By the way, the movie was amazing.  I had read Marcus’ book when it first came out and I couldn’t wait to watch the movie.  I was surprised to see him in it and very proud that he decided to share his story with the rest of the world.

Okay, now onto what I ate yesterday.

Breakfast:  1/2 grapefruit
Lunch: Curry chicken, asparagus and cucumbers
Dinner:  Filet Mignon and mashed radishes – If you’ve never tried mashed radishes, you need to.  I really dislike raw radishes but cooking them, completely changes their flavor.  I also made a “mock” gravy that I added to the radishes.  I added some water and 1T of milk to the pan that I cooked the steak in and scrapped all the goodness off the bottom of the pan.  I then added that sauce to the radishes and mixed in.
Snack:  Sliced apple (at the movies)

I also stumbled upon this great graphic that shows what 5, 10, 15 and 20 pounds of fat look like.  It’s always nice to visualize how much weigh you lose as you go along.

Did you set a New Year’s Resolution to lose weight?  How are you doing?  I’d love to hear from you so I can cheer you on.

A New Year and a New Jumpstart for my Weight Loss

January 3, 2014

This post has been hard for me to write.  I’ve always been someone who feels that eating right and working out is the way to go to lose weight and be healthy.  Unfortunately, after eating really well and working out for two years, I’ve decided to take the plunge and get a little help jumpstarting my weight loss again with Omnitrition.
After talking to my doctor in depth about how my body’s chemistry is so much different than other people, I’ve decided that maybe taking something like the Omni Drops is exactly what my body composition needs. I have heard from a friend and a family member that both said I just needed to work out more or eat right.  They don’t live in my body.  They aren’t with me 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to see how much or what I eat.  I really, honestly, feel like I eat healthy; whole foods, whole grains, low sugar.  From January through April, I worked out at least 4-5 days a week.  What did it do for my scale or clothing size?  Nothing.  It’s so easy for someone who doesn’t struggle with their weight to pass on advice to those who do struggle and just because you were overweight and something worked for you, doesn’t mean it’s going to work for someone else.  We are all different and our bodies are different.  Hence while some people can’t eat gluten or eggs or peanut butter.
Omnitrition’s Omni Drops have a strict protocol that needs to be followed in order to gain maximum benefits from the drops.  The drops are very similar to HCG drops but they are from a very reputable company and come with a 30 day money back guarantee.
So here I am – day one of the Omni Drops, Phase 2.  Phase 1 consisted of eating a high fat diet for two days to help open up your fat cells for the Omni Drops.  This morning, I woke up not hungry at all.  I was feeling so uncomfortable last night from loading that I went to bed early.  I feel like I didn’t get a good nights sleep because of it.  It was exciting to start this journey today.  I took my drops at 8am (when I woke) and at 10:00 I made the Strawberry Smoothie for breakfast, although I’d call it more of a Strawberry Slushy.

At noon I was starved and couldn’t wait to eat lunch.  4oz ground beef, 1oz onion and 3oz lettuce.  I added chili powder to my ground beef and when it was cooked added a bit of water to make a “dressing” to add to my lettuce.  It was good although I was missing my cabot cheese.

The next five hours went by soooo slow.  I was so hungry when 5pm hit and couldn’t wait to cook dinner.  We had cabbage and hamburg.  I measured out my 4oz of hamburg when I came home from the grocery store earlier this week and that helped with portion.  I measured out 4oz of cabbage and set that aside.  I then cooked the rest of my family’s meal – the rest of the cabbage plus a pound of regular hamburg for them.  In a different pot I cooked my hamburg and then sauteed the cabbage with the hamburg in a bit of water.  It steamed the cabbage.  I added in some pepper and sea salt and then decided to put a minced garlic clove in with it.  OMG it was so good.  We have this from time to time but never with the garlic.

For dessert I decided to microwave a chopped apple sprinkled with cinnamon and allspice.  I then crumbled up a wasa cracker and mixed that in.  Yummy!  Just the thing to end my day of eating.  Oh, and I got my gallon of water in (minus the 1/2 of the glass I still need to finish drinking).

In addition to the Omni Drops, I’m also taking the Omni IV liquid vitamins, Fiber ‘n More and Nite Lite.

I’ll be posting updates here but also posting photos of what I’m eating on Instagram.
